Hornsea Lakeside Lodges

Our room was brand-new, good sized, with comfy furniture, dishwasher, washer/dryer. Affable staff, they helped us a lot. The location was stunning, very close to the sea, and other areas like Hull, in a peaceful area.

The hotel's location was lovely and unbeatable, to Freeport shopping village with shopping malls and supermarkets within walking distance.

The lodge had a great hot tub, but the WiFi was annoyingly inconsistent.

This place suits me perfectly, offering fishing, Wi-Fi, and cookware. The staff once helped me retrieve forgotten headphones, which I appreciated. I recommend hiring a BBQ for a fun meal, and I'm coming back for another trip!

Local eating spots were easy to find and the takeaways around were a lifesaver. But man, charging for Wi-Fi was a bummer, especially with the connection issues we faced. Ran into hot water issues and couldn't find an emergency number anywhere until later. A bit frustrating!

Consider bringing insect repellent, as flies can be bothersome, especially during meal times.

The holiday home was spacious and very clean, with a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and a hot tub that we used every night. The location near a fishing pond provided safe play areas for kids. Having a private bathroom was great, and the heating kept the place cozy after a day out.

We just had a lovely 4-night stay in a spacious holiday home where the kids could freely play around, and we made great use of the clean hot tub after a long day. The peaceful surroundings offered us plenty of relaxation time with lovely views of the fishing pond. The only tiny issue was a few flies buzzing about, but it didn't spoil our fun at all! 😊

A Great Family Getaway!

The Swan Inn offered delicious home-cooked meals, perfect for family dinners. Pro tip, bring cleaning supplies if you plan on self-catering!

I loved the atmosphere of the lodge. It felt so cozy and cute. The hot tub was definitely the highlight of our stay. We spent every evening relaxing in it, soaking up the views by the lake. The lodge itself was spacious, perfect for our group of 8. Plenty of room to move around, and the living area was really comfortable. I appreciated how clean everything was upon our arrival. The only issue we encountered was the inconsistent WiFi. It didn't work well, especially considering the extra charge we paid for it. Some minor maintenance issues popped up, but nothing too bothersome. Staff, however, were helpful and always greeted us with a smile. Honestly, the positive atmosphere made up for a few small problems and we left feeling relaxed and happy.
